Disarray

Disarray emerged as a hardcore metal ensemble in 1993, sparked by singer and guitarist Chuck Bonnett’s pursuit of his aspirations in rock performance. Through successive iterations of the group, Bonnett produced self-recorded efforts such as Widespread Human Disaster prior to securing a contract with Eclipse Records toward the end of the decade. Incorporating bassist Vance Wright alongside drummer Dave Peridore, the act issued A Lesson in Respect during 1999. Extensive performances alongside compatible acts eventually attracted the attention of Oderus Urungus, the leading voice of Gwar, who volunteered production duties. The musicians accompanied him to his studio facilities, yielding the 2002 album In the Face of the Enemy.
