Germany's standout electronica talents Ralph Armand Beck and Torsten Stenzel unite in the well-regarded trance outfit Diver & Ace. Beck, famed for his eccentric stage antics that feature scuba-diver costumes, suspended rigging work, and occasional ballet interludes while mixing, leads the pair to operate regularly as DJ Taucher, the German equivalent of DJ Diver. Stenzel, by comparison, cultivates a quieter presence, channeling energy into studio production rather than live appearances, yet his efforts have earned substantial respect, above all in the United Kingdom where the charts have favored his other flagship project, York. Working as Diver & Ace, the two have notched multiple club successes through tracks such as "Fantasy," "Infinity," "Mental Thing," "Miracle," and "Science Fiction." Their full-length offerings comprise the widely appreciated Life Is a Remix and Return to Atlantis, both issued under the DJ Taucher name.
