Biography
Emerging briefly from Plano, Texas, Divine Eve operated as a three-piece unit whose members included the oddly monikered Lanthorvaar on vocals, guitar, and bass, Michael A. Sleavin on guitar and vocals, and Matt Killen on drums. The outfit’s lone EP, As the Angels Weep from 2003, merged the raw intensity of early black metal bands such as Hellhammer and Bathory with the deliberate, heavy pacing of Paradise Lost’s doom and death style, producing largely successful results.
