Biography
Growing up amid New York City's vibrant scene, DJ Exacta drew inspiration from the late-night radio mix shows that dominated the airwaves, much like countless other local DJs. Having begun his career spinning hip-hop records, he gradually transitioned toward house music, which eventually attracted the attention of Erick "More" Morillo. This led Morillo to sign him to the Subliminal label, resulting in the release of club anthems such as "The Beat Is Inside You," "Flippin," and "Shake My Soul" that showcased the vocals of Angelica de No. Establishing Compulsive Music as his independent venture in 2005, Exacta debuted the imprint via a rendition of the iconic house track "Pride (A Deeper Love)" with Diane Nelson providing the vocals. Performances at prominent venues including Amnesia in Ibiza, Space in Miami, and Crobar in New York City have marked his career, alongside his ongoing role as resident DJ for Pacha in New York City.
