Biography
A turntablist known for an exceptionally intricate approach to cut-and-paste mixing, DJ Faust constructs performances that allow almost no interruption while recalling the early musique concrète methods of Pierre Schaeffer and Pierre Henry. Though born in North Carolina, he operates from Atlanta as part of the Third World Citizens collective, whose members include DJ Shotgun from Goodie Mob. His debut album Man or Myth? appeared in 1998, the Fathomless EP arrived later that year, and Inward Journeys followed in 1999.
