Biography
From an early age, Ideal developed an ear for crowd-pleasing selections while providing music at private gatherings once he turned sixteen. Under the guidance of DJ Tony Tone, he gained entry into Miami's nightlife circuit. Performances at Club 609 helped cultivate a loyal following in his hometown, and national recognition followed through releases such as The Best of G-Unit, created alongside DJ Rob'N, along with the well-received Da Bottom series. His mixtapes, characterized by their intense energy and Dirty South emphasis, have attracted hosting duties from leading voices in hardcore rap, among them Pitbull, Chamillionaire, Lil Jon, Joe Budden, and Lil' Flip—all of whom worked with the DJ prior to his twenty-first birthday in 2005. In addition to his regular program on WMIB 103.5 in Miami, Ideal curates The 24 Hour Mix Tape for the SIRIUS satellite radio platform. Following travels alongside Pitbull, he issued the expansive Interscope South in 2005, featuring Slim Thug, Stat Quo, and Rich Boy as hosts.
