Biography
Working primarily as a mixing and mastering engineer and producer, DJ Loot has lent support to independent West Coast artists across rap, R&B, and electronic dance music. Hailing originally from Oroville, he operates out of Sacramento, located about 70 miles to the south. His engagement with music dates back to the late 1990s, though his commitment deepened upon receiving a Bachelor of Arts in Music from California State University, Chico in 2004. Beyond engineering, DJ Loot has released various mixtapes such as the Cali Fire and From the Vaults series along with I-80 Roll Call and The Fix, which appeared on Billboard's Top Album Sales chart during 2018.
