Biography
Emerging from the West Coast underground hip-hop circuit, DJ Murge made his breakthrough in 2002 through the release of his first full-length effort, Search and Rescue. The project included appearances by many of the underground’s hottest MCs, among them Swollen Members and Moka Only. Every one of the album’s 18 tracks was produced by Murge and put out by Battleaxe Records.
