Biography
Mark Jordan, known as DJ Pooh, launched his production work in the mid-1980s by crafting LL Cool J's Bigger and Deffer. Throughout the following decade he supplied beats for numerous other hip-hop acts while appearing in cameo roles in films and videos, most often in the company of Ice Cube. He created the Da Bomb label in 1992. By 1995 his contributions to tha Dogg Pound's Dogg Food and 2Pac's double-album All Eyez on Me had established him as a producer in high demand. Atlantic Records released his first solo album, Bad Newz Travels Fast, in 1997, thereby opening his own recording career.
