Biography
Born in Iowa, club DJ Ra derived his stage name from ancient Egyptian mystical traditions, rooted in his conviction of having been reincarnated from a prior existence there. He first worked the turntables in Miami Beach, later crisscrossing the nationwide nightclub scene and forming a collaboration with DJ/remixer/producer David Knapp, widely recognized for the White Party series. The continuously mixed 11-track album Circuit Sessions, Vol. 10, issued in October 2001, delivered more than an hour of vocal explorations fused with hardcore rhythms.
