Biography
Based in New York City, DJ Reset first drew widespread attention through his mash-ups, among them "Frontin' on Debra" (Pharrell meets Beck), "7 Superman Army" (Eminem meets the White Stripes), and "With a Little 1999" (Wings meet Prince). Yet his engagement with music stretched well beyond those creations. He began with classical piano training before shifting to guitar and drums, studying at intervals under Max Roach and Billy Taylor, Jr. Only later did he adopt DJing while balancing positions at radio stations and record labels, ultimately co-founding New York's Big Beat Boutique with Fatboy Slim in 1999.
