Biography
The heavy metal outfit hailing from Chicago, Illinois, counted Desi Rexx on vocals and guitar, Billy Dior behind the drums, S.S. Priest on guitar, Nigel Itson also handling vocals, and Lizzy Valentine on bass. Its self-titled debut album from 1988 generated immediate attention thanks to a self-assured approach that merged Aerosmith with Poison. By comparison, the follow-up Warped suffered from songwriting that came across as weak and rigidly formularized, stripped of the cutting edge that defined its predecessor. The band later shifted operations to Los Angeles, yet negative reviews and correspondingly weak sales prompted its dissolution in 1991. Rexx subsequently collaborated with former Derringer guitarist Danny Johnson, while Itson joined Millionaire Boys Club.
