Biography
Hailing from London, this pair blends jazz and rap into unified sounds, typically anchored by the vocals of Ghida De Palma. Core members Dodge (b. Roger Drakes) and I.G. draw on supporting players such as the Young Disciples plus jazz figures Ronny Jordan and Steve Williamson when required, as well as rappers including MC Bello (of Brothers Like Outlaw / KLF fame) and MCM. Dodge and I.G. have also handled remixes for Gang Starr, Digital Underground and Naughty By Nature. Releases like ‘Unleash Your Love’ earned them comparisons in some quarters to Soul II Soul, owing to their collective model that places at least eight performers onstage during most live appearances.
