Throughout the opening half of the 1990s, Detroit rapper Dogmatic confined his activities to the underground circuit, issuing several albums under the alias K-Stone. Recognition expanded sharply in 2002 upon the arrival of Promatic, the project he recorded alongside Proof of D12.
