Biography
A keyboardist skilled in computer technology cultivated his singular sonic identity through an eclectic array of experiences, ranging from rigorous classical study and the psychedelic ferment of Haight-Ashbury in the 1960s to road and studio work with rock icon Pat Travers plus assignments scoring corporate films. Although he sometimes slips into glossy pop clichés, his command of texture and timbre places him well beyond typical adult contemporary synthesists. Several of his projects, notably Shell Game, Vanishing Point, and Elevations, enjoyed solid airplay on new adult contemporary radio, yet Abacus Moon remains his strongest recording by a clear margin.
