Biography
Don Jaye, the Atlanta-based pop vocalist and rapper, began establishing his presence in the mid-2010s by uploading cover renditions across multiple social media platforms, many of which also appeared as independent releases. He reinterpreted recent popular tracks including Passenger's "Let Her Go" and Ed Sheeran's "Lego House," as well as several Justin Bieber songs such as "What Do You Mean," "Sorry," and "Love Yourself," together with Major Lazer's "Cold Water." In July 2016 Jaye issued an understated original recording titled "Way Up," on which he handled the rapping while Breana Marin contributed additional vocals. The track momentarily secured him a position on the Billboard/Twitter Emerging Artists chart.
