Biography
Renowned for his visually disorienting videos and sleeve designs that echo Chris Cunningham, Jesse Kanda has supplied visuals to forward-thinking acts such as Arca, Björk, FKA twigs, and Barbara Panther. Performing as Doon Kanda, he crafts comparably hallucinatory electronic pieces that sit between the vaporous experimental techno of Actress and Arca’s smeared, aqueous soundscapes. Hyperdub released Doon Kanda’s first EP, Heart, in early 2017, with the Luna EP arriving twelve months later. Labyrinth served as his first full-length album in 2019.
