Biography
Contemporary R&B singer/songwriter Drea entered the world as Andrea Rachelle Albert in Kansas City. The year 1997 marked the start of her professional path, after an a cappella rendition earned first place in a neighborhood talent contest and connected her with a scout who arranged an introduction to producer Kenny "Smoove" Kornegay; he promptly placed her on the roster of his Spoiled Rotten Music imprint. At the age of 17 she released her first full-length project, the LP A Dream Come True, two years later.
