An online personality who blends gaming with music creation, Dream first drew notice through Minecraft gameplay footage while shielding his identity behind a signature smiley-face mask, before introducing his sincere electro-acoustic pop material. Several tracks surfaced in 2021, among them "Mask," "Roadtrip," and "Change My Clothes," ahead of the 2023 arrival of his debut EP, to whoever wants to hear.

Birth records possibly trace to 1999 in Florida, the same state where he launched his video profile in 2014 and began posting gameplay content in 2019. Concealing his face with the trademark white-and-black smiley face mask, he cultivated a sizable audience via the Minecraft Manhunt series of speedruns featuring the well-known game. Such visibility secured the Streamy Award for Gaming in 2020 and again in 2021. Capitalizing on that reach, Dream entered music with the February 2021 release of "Roadtrip," a collaboration with PmBata. "Mask" followed in May, then came "Change My Clothes" with singer/guitarist Alec Benjamin in August. The sequence culminated in the September 2023 issuance of the debut EP to whoever wants to hear, which contained the singles "Until I End Up Dead" and "Everest."
