Biography
Hailing from Oakland, the hard rock outfit Drunk Horse consists of Elijah Eckert handling vocals and guitar, alongside John Niles on guitar, Cyrus Comiskey on bass, and Cripe Jergensen on drums. Their sound delivers high-energy hard rock boogie reminiscent of ZZ Top blended with stoner rock influences drawn from Thin Lizzy. Initially inked to the now-defunct Man's Ruin imprint based in the Bay Area, they put out multiple singles along with a self-titled effort in 1999 and the 2001 release Tanning Salon/Biblical Proportions prior to the label's collapse. Subsequently signed to Tee Pee Records, the group came back in 2003 featuring their third full-length, Adult Situations.
