Landry Delica, who came into the world in 1977 and later answered to the nicknames L'Amiral and L'Intransferable, first gained recognition as a central member of multiple French hip-hop crews before shifting focus to independent work. His interest in rap took root during childhood in Seine-Saint-Denis, where he formed a lasting bond with Nessbeal at an early age. Relocating to Orly in Val-de-Marne in 1991 led him to establish Intouchable together with Hakim Sid, better known as Demon One—an urban act that gained notice after several members perished in tragic incidents—before he entered the ranks of Mafia K'1 Fry. The collective united rappers, beatboxers, and DJs, among them Kery James and 113. Guest spots on cuts by Rohff, Ideal J, and Sexion D'Assaut paved the way for the 2008 street tape De la Pure Pour Les Durs, which preceded his first solo studio album, Les Derniers Seront Les Premiers, the following year, along with the 2012 release Tot Ou Tard.
