Biography
Dykeritz, a singer and songwriter hailing from New Jersey yet operating from Los Angeles, has maintained complete independence and self-reliance ever since launching his musical journey at the age of thirteen. His initial efforts, characterized by strange and unconventional experimentation, evolved over time into indie compositions marked by wit, depth, and occasional melancholy, as evidenced in the 2022 release Twin Flame Reunion.
Employing acoustic guitars alongside synthesizers and whatever other tools he could access, he produced numerous unofficial recordings from childhood onward, ranging from eccentric pieces to moments of pure celebration. With the maturation of his style, he elevated his work by issuing Rearrangerologyistics in 2008, an album showcasing full refinement and a hint of shoegaze influence. Subsequent output became less frequent, yielding Dreamer's Whip in 2018, followed by Madrigals in 2020 and Twin Flame Reunion in 2022. Within Twin Flame Reunion, alongside weightier tracks, appeared the tender soft rock piece "Free Tekashi 6ix9ine," serving as a poignant yet amusing tribute to the SoundCloud rapper incarcerated at that time.
