Biography
E motive emerged in 1996 as the fresh identity of a collective that had already spent seven years performing under the name Love and Death. That same year marked the shift, after which the group issued both a studio album and a live video in 1997. Soon afterward they parted ways with vocalist Jay Tausig, electing to continue strictly as an instrumental unit.
