Biography
The Bobo ensemble originated in 1965 when Outtara Basoungalo joined forces with several collaborators to establish the group. Operations continued through 1983, during which time singer and composer Youssouf Diarra emerged as its standout figure prior to perishing in an automobile collision in the late 1970s.
