Biography
Eduardo Falú, a refined baritone and accomplished musician, rose to become one of Argentina’s most celebrated guitarists. He first picked up the instrument at age eleven, then turned to composition after encountering the writers Arturo and Jaime Dávalos, whose verses supplied the words for his earliest pieces. Over the course of his career he wove South American folkloric forms such as Carnavalito, Cueca, and Bailecito together with texts by prominent poets including Jorge Luis Borges and Manuel Castilla, earning well-deserved recognition throughout America, Europe, Japan, and the former U.S.S.R.
