Biography
Eduardo Verástegui, a Mexican fashion model, actor, and singer, departed his native Tamaulipas at age 17 to study acting in Ciudad de Mexico, where he soon became a member of the Latin pop group Kairo. His acting roles included successful appearances in local soap operas such as Mi Querida Isabel, Alma Rebelde, and Tres Mujeres. Following his relocation to the U.S., Fernán Ramírez and producer Estéfano arranged a recording contract with Universal Music, which released his self-titled debut album in 2001.
