Biography
Nicky Skopelitis, a noted underground guitarist, directed the experimental trance music outfit Ekstasis, which included downtown New York City musician Bill Laswell together with Jah Wobble, Jaki Liebezeit, Zakir Hussain, and Badal Roy. The ensemble’s debut album, Wake Up & Dream, surfaced in 1998.
