Biography
Elegant Weapons unites guitarist Richie Faulkner of Judas Priest, vocalist Ronnie Romero from Rainbow, drummer Christopher Williams of Accept, and bassist Dave Rimmer with Uriah Heep into a heavy metal and hard rock supergroup. Faulkner launched the recording sessions amid COVID-19 pandemic lockdowns, bringing in Romero, Pantera bassist Rex Brown, and fellow Priest members Scott Travis on drums along with Andy Sneap for guitar and production. The resulting sound draws on the musicians’ accumulated experience to fuse power metal, thrash, classic rock, and grunge. In 2022 the band confirmed its road lineup of Faulkner, Romero, Williams, and Rimmer ahead of issuing its debut album, Horns for a Halo, through Nuclear Blast in 2023.
