Elevator

Initially launched as a side endeavor by Rick White from Eric's Trip, the project made its entrance in 1995 under the name Elevator to Hell via the release Parts 1 and 2. Subsequent years brought ongoing recordings paired with repeated shifts in identity, moving from Elevator through Hell to Elevator Through before adopting the shortened Elevator for the newest album, Vague Premonition. Every song gets captured on an 8-track recorder, with the project's sole aim being to document rare emotional moments that surface only occasionally. The outcome is a distinctly lo-fi, stripped-down style that transitions from Black Sabbath influenced rock into swirling psychedelic passages and reverb-soaked vocals submerged amid keyboards and heavy bass lines.
