Biography
Angel Meléndez of Chicago, recording as eLVy the God, creates drill rap defined by rapid-fire rhymes and lyrics that confront violence without hesitation or softening. His first SoundCloud uploads arrived in 2015, opening with the track “Take Over.” In the two years that followed, additional songs and videos surfaced while he represented the crew Grand Goon Gang. Genesis, his debut mixtape, surfaced in December 2017 and was followed one month later by Free Speedy Gang.
