Albania’s Enca Haxhia, performing under the shorter stage name Enca, works as a vocalist whose striking visual presentation and sultry, rhythm-driven pop have drawn widespread notice. She entered the world as Ruensa Haxhiaj in Tirana, Albania, during 1995 and first reached listeners by uploading cover versions to assorted social-media outlets. Momentum gathered near 2012 after she appeared with rapper Big Basta on the broadcast singing contest Kënga Magjike. Additional televised spots came afterward, accompanied by a few original releases.
