Biography
Formed as a punk and rock trio from Paraguay, Enemigos de la Klase began their musical journey during the early 1990s, initially performing under the moniker Los Birramaníacos. With Christian Pérez at the helm, the founding members included guitarist Juan Armano, bassist Sargus Pérez, and vocalist Felipe Fernández. Their first public performance took place in 1992 at a modest local spot. Following the completion of an initial demo recording, vocalist Felipe Fernández chose to depart the group. Christian Pérez assumed the role of primary vocalist around the time when Roberto Bernal came aboard as drummer and Carlos Acuña took over guitar duties from Juan Armano. The year 1994 saw the band lay down tracks for República o Muerte, which found release through the independent ENSA label, receiving digital audio mastering in 1998. New rhythm section members arrived in 1996 with Marcelo González on drums and Eduardo Anderlique handling bass.
