Epidemic

Forming the hard rock quartet Epidemic are vocalist Boris together with guitarist Bruce Allan, bassist Jimmy McDaniel, and drummer Tim Ganard. Allan, McDaniel, and Ganard, each after short spells in assorted San Diego outfits, connected with Dutch-born Boris in 2000. Before meeting his eventual bandmates, Boris had roamed worldwide and performed with multiple groups throughout North Africa, Southeast Asia, and Central America. Their chemistry sparked, the four began gigging across southern California, securing a deal with Elektra inside the next twelve months. They issued their raw and vibrant self-titled effort in June 2002.
