The piano entered Eric Doney’s life in first grade and has remained central ever since. Jazz seized his attention in junior high, prompting a series of professional engagements, all undertaken while he was still underage, at Pocono Mountain resorts alongside Al Cohn, Steve Gilmore, and Bill Goodwin. After completing his studies at Susquehanna University, he supported himself by performing across multiple genres, touring with Jon Hendricks, Kim Parker, and Connie Stevens before later assuming the post of music director for Englebert Humperdinck. A return to the Poconos led him to establish his own imprint, Pacific Street, under which he has released several rewarding solo albums and produced projects for additional artists.
