Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter Eric Knight creates sincere, melody-centered tracks that fuse vintage hard rock energy with present-day alt-rock sensibilities. Hailing originally from Miami, he launched his independent path in 1998 via the album Near Life Experience and followed it in 2002 with Fractured Fairy Tales. During those years he secured prominent support slots for Kiss, Dave Matthews Band, and Aerosmith, later channeling his efforts into Disciples of Babylon, the group that anchored his creative output across the 2010s. In 2024 he resumed solo activity with the single "Out of This World."

Raised in the Miami-area community of Hialeah, Knight displayed early initiative by composing and playing his material throughout adolescence. After leading the local hard rock outfit Vandal, he ventured forward alone and issued his first record, Near Life Experience, under his own name in 1998. A 2000 cover of "Foolin'" on the Def Leppard tribute album Tributized broadened his opportunities, leading directly to a high-visibility opening engagement with Kiss. His second album, Fractured Fairy Tales, arrived in 2002, accompanied by further notable performances alongside Aerosmith and Kid Rock. Relocating to Los Angeles by 2008, he built momentum through consistent club engagements that culminated in an "Outstanding Male Solo Artist" honor at the Rockies in Hollywood.

Knight next pursued group collaboration once more by assembling the hard-charging alt-rock unit Disciples of Babylon in 2012, which quickly became a steady presence on the Los Angeles scene. The band issued singles such as "Welcome to Babylon" and "Liberty," along with the seven-song EP The Rise and Fall of Babylon in 2017. Parallel to these activities, he maintained behind-the-scenes roles that encompassed teaching, songwriting, and building his own media platform over multiple years.

Drawn back toward individual expression, Knight began shaping fresh solo material. The 2024 release "Out of This World" explored motifs of isolation and alien abduction while marking a shift toward narrative-driven songwriting.
