Biography
Four longtime friends from Seattle, Washington—Dwayne Morman, Alan Grosvenor, Dave Lee, and Todd Schlosser—form the emo rock combo Eris. The quartet had long sought to launch a band, yet Dave Lee and Todd Schlosser’s commitments to professional skateboarding postponed Eris’s official start until 1999. Once assembled, the group gigged throughout Seattle, landed a recording contract, and issued their self-titled debut album in 2002.
