Biography
Hailing from Sugar Land, Texas, the pop/rock group Estatica has performed throughout the United States beginning in 1998. The trio, consisting of guitarist Gabriel Ruiz, vocalist and bassist Leonardo Ruiz, and drummer Chris Hamilton, drew inspiration from British alternative music along with Latin rock ensembles including Maná and Soda Stereo when establishing the band. Following their debut self-titled EP, the group produced a six-track album titled Ruido de Corazón that came out in 2000.
