Evening Elephants

Blending bright indie rock melodies with hip-hop beats and electronic textures, Evening Elephants projects a relaxed, playful vibe as a duo. Attention has built around their output, notably the 2023 single "Life Is Swell" and the 2024 track "Parking Lot Problems."

The Los Angeles-based outfit centers on vocalist Sam Boggs alongside drummer and producer Brandon Leslie. The two first linked up in 2021 at a Silverlake gathering, where they recognized an immediate creative rapport. Before combining efforts, Boggs had already gained experience behind the boards as a producer, while Leslie had been developing material under his own name. They soon began capturing songs in the studio and posting them online, among them the 2023 releases "Life Is Swell," "Snow on the Bluff," and "Rent Free." Further singles appeared in 2024, including "Succubus," "Pheromones," and "Parking Lot Problems."
