Biography
Singer/songwriter Everett Young began exploring his jazz-inflected pop style as far back as the early 1990s. This southern peach first attracted notice abroad while recording under the name Hudson Young. His debut release, What If, moved several thousand units and gave him the opportunity to sharpen his live performance approach. After heading back to his native Georgia in 1997, Young turned to production duties, handling both production and engineering for fellow southern acts including the Sightseers, Satori Bomb, and the late Laura Pooley. He returned to solo material in 2003, delivering the lush new wave/pop album The Ground.
