Biography
Extra Prolific, linked to the Hieroglyphics crew, operated chiefly as a solo venture assembled by Duane "Snupe" Lee with assistance from studio associates such as Domino and A-Plus. The act’s first album, Like It Should Be, appeared on Jive in 1994. Even though the single “Brown Sugar” enjoyed a brief climb onto the rap charts, Extra Prolific was soon released by the label. He resurfaced in 1996 with the album 2 for 15, issued on his own imprint, Security.
