Biography
Descended from the founding figure of an Italian dynasty celebrated for its composers and instrumental performers, Fabrizio assumed the role of Pasquella in Gl'ingannati when appearing before the Prince of Salerno. Galilei cited his exceptional lute playing. While employed in Parma he produced lamentations and chordal recitations anchored in root-position sonorities, enriching the harmonic palette through added augmented triads. His reputation as a lutenist ultimately eclipsed his work as a composer.
