Biography
Far Too Jones formed in Raleigh, NC, featuring singer Christopher Sprull, guitarists Jason Marks and Dave Dicke, bassist Alan Callahan, and drummer Scott MacConnell. The band swiftly rose to prominence as one of the Southeast's most active touring acts. One year after the mid-1995 arrival of their self-titled debut CD, they issued Crawling Out from Under. The follow-up EP Plastic Hero contained the local hit "Falling Back Down," whose momentum earned the group a contract with the Mammoth label. Their first Mammoth release, Picture Postcard Walls, came out in 1998, followed two years later by Shame and Her Sister.
