Farewell

The pop-punk sextet Farewell, originating from Greensboro, NC, issued their initial EP, Poisoning the Lark, in 2005 via the Forsaken label. With influences spanning the Beach Boys to Green Day, Farewell merged keyboards and layered vocals with the classic rock preference for dueling guitars atop a rhythm section; such a combination resonated effectively, ultimately attracting the attention of Epitaph Records, the independent beacon of the punk revival, subsequent to a series of Eastern U.S. performances. Epitaph put out Farewell's first full-length release, Isn't This Supposed to Be Fun!?, during the fall of 2007.
