Biography
Farmer Jason emerged as the supposed "identical twin" of cowpunk pioneer Jason Ringenberg, initially conceived when Ringerberg launched the endeavor strictly as a private outlet for his daughters. The venture ultimately surpassed the rest of his catalog in commercial reach. He issued A Day at the Farm with Farmer Jason on Yep Roc in 2003, a collection centered on life at his Tennessee farm and its resident animals, followed three years afterward by Rockin' in the Forest with Farmer Jason.
