Biography
Farrel, the Latin pop singer born Rafael Rodríguez Martínez, began his formal musical training at sixteen by enrolling at Puerto Rico’s Universidad Interamericana. After logging time on bass with assorted local groups, he chose to launch a solo career and joined forces with producers José Torres and Ramón Martínez to cut his self-titled debut album, issued by EMI Latin in 2000.
