The quartet known as Fast Cash Boyz, hailing from Memphis, began crafting their trap-influenced tracks laden with hooks during their teenage years. Operating without major backing, they put out independent projects such as the 2016 mixtape C.R.E.A.M., which preceded their breakthrough via the 2018 viral sensation "Cash Walk".
Formed amid the mid-2010s by associates C-Money, TP Stackz, Money, and C Jizzle, the outfit channeled obsessions with wealth, authority, and achievement into their debut effort, the self-issued 2015 mixtape Trappin' Out the Booth. Persistent creation led to an ongoing series of mixtapes, singles, and visual releases throughout subsequent years. Standouts encompassed C.R.E.A.M. from 2016 alongside Trappin' Out the Booth II, an early 2018 mixtape that included an appearance by Ace Boogie. The 2018 joint endeavor Fast Cash Boyz Too Bangin' alongside producer Too Bangin' expanded their reach. Infectious tracks like "Cash Walk" and "Fuck Wit", paired with videos emphasizing dance, amassed hundreds of thousands of streams and marked FCB's initial viral successes.
