Biography
Venezuelan Latin rock outfit Fauna Crepuscular first embraced Latin ska during the mid-'90s. Early appearances encompassed the domestic anthology Caracas Underground plus the internationally issued Venezuela Ska and Latin Ska, Vol. ll. The ensemble participated in Caracas' Festival Música En El Parque in 1997 and, one year afterward, delivered a live set at la Experiencia Roja, a prominent local rock occasion. Following extensive national touring in 1999, the musicians entered the studio to cut their debut album, El Primero Siempre Es Rapido, with Alberto Cabello handling production.
