Biography
FCS North blends jazz, indie rock, electronics, and vocal samples, pronouncing its abbreviation as “focus.” The project unites bassist Josh Warren and keyboardist Chad States, both alumni of Satisfact, with drummer Andy Sells, previously of United Schach Corp. After developing a devoted regional audience throughout the Pacific Northwest, the trio secured a contract with Southern Records and delivered its self-titled debut album in late 2000.
