Biography
Hailing from Washington, D.C., the folk-rock group Fear of Commitment features singer/songwriter Sarah Knab together with guitarist/bassist Niall Hood and drummer Ken Zalewski. Refining a roots rock/Americana approach ever since the band formed in early 2000, the trio has earned attention through memorable and hooky shows across scattered neighborhoods in the capital. Echoing the style of the Cowboy Junkies, R.E.M., and the Cranberries, Fear of Commitment issued its first independent album, Paper Dolls and Paper Plates, in mid-2000.
