Hailing from Chihuahua in Mexico, singer-songwriter Félix García drew his chief inspiration from the Cuban Nueva Trova style that Silvio Rodríguez helped bring to international audiences. He first turned to original material in 1986, when he wrote the song “Jamás lo Sabras.” The 1999 album Si El Amor No Fuera Imprescindible marked his recording debut and was followed a year later by the live set Félix García en Concierto.
